It is with profound sadness that we inform you of the passing of our beloved colleague and friend, Dr. Dionne Price, Deputy Director for the Office of Biostatistics. In her over 20 years at the FDA, Dionne made invaluable contributions to the Office of Biostatistics and the broader statistical community including the ISBS. She served as the 118th President of the American Statistical Association. Throughout her career, Dionne was a leader, mentor, and trailblazer both within and beyond the FDA.
Her commitment to excellence, kindness and humility left a lasting impact that will live on through the many lives she touched. While we grieve the loss of our cherished colleague and friend, we can find solace in having known Dionne and benefiting from her mentorship, wisdom, leadership, and legacy – the work she advanced and the people she inspired.
